Down The Memory Lane With Cyclone Fani

It may have been a year but the memories are still fresh the cyclone Fani which hit Odisha on 3rd May 2019, how can an Odia forget that.

The sound of the winds of the horrifying cyclone still Echoes near my ear. The damage Fani did to my Odisha, to my cities my villages was simply unprecedented.

You may or may not have experienced the cyclone Fani but if you are an Odia no matter which part of the world you were on that day ‘remember how worried you to were about your motherland, about your family, about your city, about your village thinking of those moment gives me goosebumps while is drafting this.

Year old trees were uprooted and the telephone lines and the electricity lines where completely out of place many houses were destroyed it was like my state went twenty years back.

But then the whole of Odisha got together we helped each other like never before. The Restoration activities started, the people involved in restoration worked day in and day out.

Yes it took time but we stood up once again like never before Odisha became more stronger more beautiful than ever before.
